Dream of Youth Basketball Center Closer to Reality
The dream of a multi-court indoor sports center devoted to organized youth basketball and volleyball took another giant leap forward recently when Sporting Chance pledged $100,000 to the campaign. The Southern Arizona Indoor Sports Center, a public-private partnership between Pima County and the youth sports community is planned for the Curtis Park area, around River Rd. and La Cholla. The project is being spearheaded by Sporting Chance and a new non-profit organization, Southern Arizona Community Sports, Inc.

Get Involved!
The Center needs the support of the youth basketball and youth volleyball communities. We are currently executing our fundraising plan to raise a minimum of $1 million from the private sector, which will be combined with approximately $6 million from Pima County to construct a state of the art facility. Early commitments and indications of interest from prospective major donors are very positive, but we also need grass roots help from the community. If you care about youth, and feel that youth sports can be a positive influence on society, than you need to learn more about this project and get involved.
