Registration Now Open!

Registration is now open for the 19^th Annual Sporting Chance Summer Slam, to be held Friday-Sunday, July 20-22 at the University of Arizona and other sites. Games begin Friday afternoon and conclude Sunday early evening. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games. 

The Summer Slam hosts Boys teams in 3rd through 9th grade divisions, and Girls teams in 7th through 9th grade divisions. GRADES ARE THOSE JUST COMPLETED. We are using new AAU eligibility guidelines, so please review carefully to determine the correct division for your team.

Learn More About the So. AZ Indoor Sports Center
A Public-Private Partnership to Provide Facilities for Youth Sports

If you care about youth basketball, then you need to know about The Southern Arizona Indoor Sports Center, a new facility being constructed by a public-private partnership between Pima County and the Tucson youth sports community. The multi-court facility is planned for the Curtis Park area, around River Rd. and La Cholla. and could open as early as Spring, 2013.  (See preliminary rendering of the building, right.)

The project is being spearheaded by Sporting Chance and a new non-profit organization, Southern Arizona Community Sports, Inc.  To learn more about this exciting project, or to make a tax deductible donation, click here.
